Privacy

Faultline is built to work without a developer-operated account, advertising network, analytics SDK, or tracking SDK. This page explains what data the app touches and where it lives.

What we collect

Faultline does not track you across apps or websites, does not sell data, and does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not run a backend; there is no off-device record of you on RedGames servers.

Local data on device

Faultline stores puzzle progress, settings, solve history, and purchase entitlement state on your device so the app can restore your game state. This data is written to your device's protected app container.

Game Center

If you sign in to Game Center, Apple handles that platform service under your Apple Account. Faultline submits total solves, clean solves, and a first-clean-survey achievement when you are signed in.

StoreKit purchases

If you make an in-app purchase, Apple handles the transaction through StoreKit under your Apple Account. RedGames receives an opaque entitlement signal — we do not see your payment method, billing address, or Apple ID email.

Notifications

If you enable Daily Reminder, Faultline schedules a local notification on your device. You can disable reminders in Settings or through iOS notification settings.
